Web 2.0 technology from AltiusPAR allows for the luxury of personalizing hotel rooms. Before travel, guests can opt for specific room or suite detail preferences.

Luxury hotels and resorts strive to provide all the modern amenities their guests expect, but it's impossible to please all the people all the time. Travel polls show that different travelers have different vacation needs and desires, which makes sense. One person may expect down bedding at a 5-star resort, another may be allergic to it.

Keeping up with the various guest demands has been a constant goal for resorts and hotels. Fortunately for them, a new technology in hotel room booking has made meeting guest standards easier. AltiusPAR has developed Web 2.0 software that allows hotel guests to both configure and personalize their rooms or suites. This service is available at the time of booking and thereafter as well.

Where to Find Hotels Using AltiusPAR's Guest Experience Ecosystem

Initially working with citizenM Hotels in Amsterdam and other European cities, the AltiusPAR technology will be picked up by other planned citizenM properties as well. These include hotels in London, Barcelona, Glasgow, Berlin, Stockholm, Brussels, Paris, Milan, and more. AltiusPAR's Guest Experience Ecosystem also has agreements with high-end hotels Club Quarters, Grupo Posadas, and Topaz Hotel Services. Club Quarters has US properties in D.C., Philadelphia, Chicago, Boston, New York, San Francisco and Houston.

Michael Levie, CEO of citizenM Hotels, has said that AltiusPAR's technology is a "simple, easy to use and install package which...enables us to deliver a spectacular guest experience." By creating this interactive connection between hotel guests and their rooms and suites, citizenM Hotels can help make vacations meet the wishes of each traveler.

How to Use AltiusPAR's Guest Experience Ecosystem

Before their vacation, trip planners sign on to citizenM's website powered by the AltiusPAR Web 2.0 internet booking engine. Travel guests can choose themes for their hotel rooms, such as "business," "romance," and "relaxation." These pre-defined parameters define, in a sense, the feeling of the hotel room. Guests can also choose from individual options such as preferred room temperature, lighting, favorite TV shows, and music. Any preferences and changes made during their hotel stays are recorded and stored for their next visit, as well. Automatic adjustments are made at hotel kiosks, and on activated RFID tags. This way, people on vacation can have confidence that their hotel room or suite will exactly meet their expectations.

Hotel managers strive to have their hotels stand out in terms of guest services. AltiusPAR can help personalize the rooms and suites, making each vacation meet the increasingly exacting standards of world travelers.
