Tourists vacation in Saratoga Springs to experience its history, thoroughbred racetrack, and great outdoor recreation. Three lovely hotels offer travelers even more.

Saratoga Springs, New York, is sophisticated yet charming. The natural mineral springs and important American history coexists with the Saratoga Racetrack, Saratoga Performing Arts Center, luxury day spas and golf courses. Tourists come for the history, arts, outdoor recreation, thoroughbred racing and more. Luxury travel needs are easily met in Saratoga Springs. The concierges at three high-end hotels are happy to arrange walking tours, historical tours, bike trips and appointments at day spas.

All three of these luxury hotels are on Broadway. Broadway, the main thoroughfare of Saratoga Springs, was named one of five "Best Main Streets" in America by the National Trust for Historic Preservation.

  • The Inn at Saratoga, at 231 Broadway, is the town's oldest hotel. The Inn first opened its doors to guests in 1848. The Victorian architecture remains today, carefully preserved. The Inn supplies free horse-drawn carriages to downtown Saratoga Springs. The Inn's restaurant has a notably excellent and fresh complementary breakfast (buffet style), and dinner. A variety of hotel packages are available with your reservation. Hotel packages include "Hoofing It" historic walking tours, "Girlfriend Package" mineral bath and massage at the Roosevelt Bath and Spa, and the "Wealth" package, with a reservation in a luxury guest suite, and a Wealth, Health and History tour.
  • The Adelphi Hotel, at 365 Broadway, is more than a hotel; it's a landmark. In it's long history, many world-class luminaries stayed at The Adelphi, while spending their days at the mineral spas and racetrack. The Adelphi Hotel harkens back to the time when Saratoga was a luxury world traveler's frequent destination. There is no restaurant in this hotel, but many are an easy stroll away on Broadway. The classic Victorian setting of The Adelphi is supplemented by modern amenities, such as a pool, and wireless internet access.
  • The Saratoga Hotel and Conference Center is at 534 Broadway. This contemporary hotel offers many conveniences for business travelers, such as wireless internet, video games and movies for cable TV, complementary daily newspaper and a workstation en suite. There are executive rooms and luxury suites with private patios. Multiuse spaces for business meetings, conferences and corporate functions, are available upon request, and everything is recently renovated. For travelers mixing business with a family vacation, children will love the spacious pool, and spouses will enjoy the gym and sauna. Luxury in a modern setting, The Saratoga Hotel and Conference Center also has a very fine restaurant: Chez Sophie serves traditional French cuisine, and provides room service.

Saratoga Springs is upstate New York at its finest. Your luxury vacation, even your quickie business trip, can be augmented with a hike in the Adirondacks, a nature walk and historic tour, a concert at SPAC, shopping and antiquing, or simply relaxing in a day spa. I love this town; I know you will, too.
