Well, I love Lush too. In fact, I'm boarding an airplane this Friday -- hopefully, with a couple of Lush goodies! I'll tell you if I get to keep it on my carry-on bags. » desertblue - thanks fellow Lushie! In response to thanks fellow Lushie! posted by JenniferMiner:cool, thank you. they are saying the TSA has okayed their solids but I would love to hear it in action. Everyone is so busy checking their stuff that I don't know how it is going in reality. -- posted by desertblue

Well, I'm back from the airport experience du jour...Before I left, I put a Marathon Bubble Bar (bubble baths), Happy Soap, HIWTK soap, and a Black Pearl bath bomb in my purse. None were confiscated! Although the TSA woman raised her eyebrow at the bright orange Marathon Bar, of all things, and sent my purse back and forth through the x-ray a few times. My chapstick and eye drops were also not taken away, so it could depend on the individual person you get checking your carry-on. The chapstick and Visine were my "control group." » desertblue - thanks fellow Lushie! In response to thanks fellow Lushie! posted by JenniferMiner:wow, that is so cool. Since they didn't take your control group, it's hard to say how applicable that is across the board, but I have heard rumors people are getting to take their lipsticks along now. I will have to go back and check for new info on the TSA site. that is so cool that you did this experiment. did you use any of the Lush stuff on your trip? -- posted by desertblue Please follow the guidelines set forth in the Suite101 Posting Etiquette when adding to the discussion. |
