I liked your geocache blog too - that's cool about how normal items, stuff that might be considered trash (ie - a tupperwere in the woods), becomes a magical portal to another world most mortals are not exposed to. Reminds me of the Portkeys in the harry potter books. happy

I know what you mean about the Portkeys! ...Well, while I stayed solidly on this plane ;) I did get the sensation of being part of a larger, previously unknown group. It's a nice feeling.

YOu know, the funny thing is, once when I was out geocaching, I was holding my gps in front of me, with a printout of the site info in one hand, and a newlywed couple saw me and made a beeline: They knew exactly what I was doing, and they wanted to help find the cache. I felt like part of a secret society, in a way, but made up of very friendly, earthy people. Fun! happy
