» kingbeem - Luxury travel to Italy

I have four business people that asked me to arrange them a ten days business trip to Italy and to recommend them some exclusive restaurants and wellness centers and to rent them a higher class car. The cities they are staying are Rome and Milan.
I have trying to find web sites about recommended luxury accommodation and services for travelers to Italy. I found some but nothing suitable. If there is somebody that have some suggestions please replay. Something like this web site about Croatia - www.luxurycroatia.com would be great.

Hi kingbeem! Let me tell you about a few restaurants I like in Milan. Near Milan's Duomo is Cracco-Peck. It's more comfortable than exclusive, but the food is really great (it's run by the guy who used to run one of my favorite restaurants in Florence called Enoteca Pincchiori). Paper Moon is a restaurant that's more high-end and popular with tourists. Since your travelers are there on business, they might also like Sadler. It has an upscale setting and delicious Milanese cuisine.

The only wellness centers I know in Milan are on-site day spas in luxury hotels. I can't personally vouch for them, but keep in mind that Milan is the fashion and luxury center of Italy, so the day spas can't be too shabby. The Hotel Principe di Savoia has a day spa called Club 10. It's a gym and massage treatments center. Also, the ultra-lux Carlton Hotel Baglioni is a smaller 5-star hotel in Milan, with the Guerlain Spa on-site.

I usually start in Florence and rent my car by the airport there. If your travelers are focusing purely on Milan and Rome, you might like Elite Rent. It's Swiss, and they have an outpost in Milan and other luxury travel destinations. Their email is eliteitaly@eliterent.com but be sure to specify Milan in your query.

I've never been to Rome, believe it or not. But a luxury-oriented website that I find much in common with is gayot.com. I have a lot of respect for their selections of luxury accomodations as well as more relaxed, mellow lodgings and restaurants. Good luck - I think your associates will have a fantastic time.
